Unfortunately they were closed during the month of August and we were unable to visit the museum however we walked around and took copious pictures. It’s a great location to walk around and visit.

My wife and I along with our friends took a ride to the Boca Grande Lighthouse. At the lighthouse, they have a gift shop along with a museum. Very interesting place to visit. There is also a beach nearby too.

What a great find - all the way down at the south end of the island. Lots of information, very well presented. And the gift shop offers beautiful, locally made, jewelry. I purchased a lovely, sterling silver starfish necklace and sterling starfish earrings. Highly recommend.
