A short distance from downtown Boca and just south of Highland Park is nestled a perfect little beach called Red Reef. We can only imagine the name comes from the coloring on the artist's palette, but on a warm, sunny day as December approaches, this is as close as it gets to paradise.

This is a good place to go if you want to snorkel with young kids. Go just before high tide and there's a small reef that you can snorkel around. The reef is located at tower 9 and had lots of fish when we're were there. Make sure to watch the tide, as the reef is completely exposed at low... More

Red Reef Park is good all year round. Good beaches and ability to walk from the ocean to the intercoastal. Picnic...pull up your boat...walk through the ecosystem rich with Florida flora.

Nice, clean white sand beach in Boca. We did call the number on the sign to rent chairs and an umbrella, but no one returned our call. The beach had all of the necessities, like a restroom and shower, which were clean and operational. We were there on Sunday after the hurricane, so the water was warm and quite rough,... More

Nice beach park. Many locals and visitors. In between seasons, not crowded. Clean and safe. Lifeguard on duty, and chair rentals and umbrella available. Good park area for kids and picnic

I like this beach but you need to know what you are getting into. The dune is in place, with terrific boardwalks and steps over them. Quite a few lifeguard stations staffed year round. It has been saved from development! On the other hand there are few facilities on the beach side of the dunes. I saw no shade in... More

If you are a Boca resident, you can get an annual parking pass, otherwise the parking is a rip off. Also bring your own chairs and umbrella. They charge an 2 arms and 2 legs for them.
