This preserve has many different plant and animals for visitors to enjoy. The beach is beautiful, clean, and beautiful shells are everywhere for collecting. It is also home to the protected gopher tortoise. Park Rangers give daily presentations and guide nature walks. There are ample parking spots and clean bathrooms.

Barefoot beach is an okay beach, but it definitely wasn't my favorite. In my opinion, there are plenty of other beaches in/near Naples that are a lot nicer. For starters, this beach is almost all shells, which was kind of a turn off. Usually I'm not one to complain about shells (because usually there is white sand and then a... More

Like all public beaches in the Bonita/Naples area, it's best to go early. There are a few nice amenities. It cost a few bucks to get in. One has to drive in on Berefoot Dr quite a way. Once you paid your money and driven quite a way, there is still a good chance you'll have to wait for a... More

It was not overcrowded even though it was spring break for Northern schools. The water was a ittle rough that day, but kids were in the water.

Although I live in Naples, it has been years since I visited this particular beach. It is a great preserve that makes you realize how special it is in Southwest Florida. This is a great beach for shelling, relaxing and simply enjoying nature.

We visited Barefoot Beach Preserve. The drive in is on a long winding road which is made of pavers. At first, we thought ,"How unique and expensive"! Then, we realized that we started to pass gigantic mansions. They looked amazing! It's a beautiful road lined with gigantic palm trees. Lots of awesome architecture. We arrived at the beach for a... The drive to barefoot beach is quite the eye opening experience! Drive by the multi million dollar homes on the road to the beach. Parking is $8 but there is a good amount of parking. Make sure you have sturdy shoes to walk on the beach. There are lots of broken shells. It is a beautiful beach and the water... More
