Played Pine Barrens on 11/10/2016 as a single and was paired up with a 3-some of gentleman from NJ. We had a great time together. Rangers were very friendly and our pace of play was good, we never waited on a shot. Pine Barrens is an excellent layout with a lot of elevation changes, waste bunkers and holes that make... More

...due to the EMPLOYEES. The Pine Barrens course is fantastic. However, we had 2 very bad experiences today. First, the starter wanted us to tee off a group earlier, due to a cancellation. We weren't told this. When we drove to the first tee, approx. 5 min prior to tee time, a group of 40+ men in a tournament began... More

My wife and i have been playing here for about 10 yrs, and only played Rolling Oaks once (boring!), we always play Pine Barrens. Other than the fact that these 2 courses are a Fazio design, the layout for Pine Barrens is no comparison the Rolling Oaks. So we played recently (August 28th) and had another twosome paired with us.... More

Thankfully I played the Rolling Oaks course on an overcast June day, so the heat was tolerable. The Pine Barrens course was closed, which made for an easy choice on my only day in the area. What a great setting for golf in central Florida! An assistant pro at my local muni course in Colorado told me to check out... More

Two excellent layouts that require shot making from the back tees and were playable from the front tees. The courses had some elevation changes, no Houses on frairways, tricky greens that were firm and fast and not too grainy. I am a 3 handicap and we had people in our group who are as high as 25 and the course... More

Quiet afternoon. Oaks course was in good shape except for one patch of burned out fairway. Staff was helpful and polite. Afternoon midweek greens fees are reasonable. Interesting and enjoyable round.

World Woods is miles away from 'regular' Florida, but well worth the trip. Excellent Fazio design and very challenging. Played Pine Barrens without disappointment. Excellent conditions.

So,I just returned from a month in Tampa & in that time I probably played both courses around 8 times each. As of the middle of the time between 2/20 & 3/15, both courses were in decent shape, with the greens being better on the rolling oaks course. Once it warms Pine Barrens greens will improve. No one pays full... More

Played both courses and can not get enough of them. The greens were slow but excellent. The pace of play was a little slow in the afternoon, but still under 4 1/2 hours. GET YARDAGE BOOKS i (if they have them). Have not have Pine Barrens book for over 6 months!!!!!!

Great courses, good conditions, good staff. Food quality needs some work. Off the beaten path, but well worth the trip.
