My only wish is that the tour were twice as long. So many things to see in each room! We went with our pre-teen girls (who love history) and enjoyed every minute. Plenty of oddities & perhaps a ghost or two! Good example of period architecture and decor, plus a full interior showing real life.

Didn't know this place existed. A friend took me and I found it quite interesting. Located in a big restored old house, a throwback to the past. Beautiful grounds!

How can a visitor not like this little museum. Loads of "old stuff" from the attics of locals. Anyone over 40 can go through there and find many objects to say, "We used to have one of those!" Historic artifacts from the 1800's to the twentieth century. They even take you to the attic, where excess "stuff" is stored. Be... More

We had such an amazing time today 9/8/16. A true adventure. There were 4 of us and they way it was presented to us made us feel special. Be prepared for an amazing fun and yes even scary. The ladies that were were showing us the house were fun and very informative. We look forward to going back.

This old home is gorgeous and full of history! We loved visiting and getting to see every room in the home, even the attic! It is decorated with period appropriate furniture and clothing, including some original to the home! The tour guides were very knowledgeable! Everyone can learn something here!

Significant historical facts of Brooksville. The architecture, and peoples of the period are quite interesting to follow.

The most noteworthy thing about this museum is it's large collection of varied items, from military uniforms to medical artifacts. Furnishings, toys, clothes and kitchen utensils. Docents lead complementary tours of this 3 story house. Very interesting.

We were in line to enter and the family in front of us had two children. The one child was close to his mother and she had his hand the entire time. He did not say anything or cause any type of commotion. The other child was very well behaved as well. After the family paid for admission the one... More

Very interesting history of the house and the area with lots of military uniforms, civil war and WW1 relics. Once owned by a doctor it was used as a hospital with most of the equipment on display. It is said to be haunted and they have ghost tours available . Nice way to spend an hour or more.

We enjoyed the step back in time of the Victorian period and the connection to Brooksville. A wedding party was coming in to have pictures taken as we were leaving - a $5.00 fee is charged but we left a larger contribution to help continue to fund the Heritage Museum - worth a visit if your in the area!
