In area for weekend--stopped by and they were have a festival--found some info on trapping, cider making, gem mining, and good country music. Also found out that the Seminoles won the battle of Dade "hands down"!

This place is one of those left out of history books in school.That you don't know about. It is very informative. Never knew that about the Indian history here. It was awesome to learn. Thanks Bushnell for sharing.God Bless.

You could spend a good part of a day here exploring and walking around. We brought a picnic lunch and just meandered. It is very hot in the summer months so going earlier in the day or later in the day is a good idea.
