Went looking for birds at Rotary Park today & was not disappointed. Wood storks, herons, egrets, ducks & variety of songbirds. The center has interesting displays of critters (snakes, lizards, turtles, fish tanks), the park has trails, a butterfly house (free tours offered M, F, Sat at 10:30am), a dog park (registration required). Just a nice place to enjoy nature.... More

Cape Coral has a variety of parks. This one is located about a mile from my house and is one of the environmental parks here. I t has a selection of native plants, a butterfly pavilion, a dog park with sections for large and small dogs, and walking trails. The trails go through a variety of different environments, and you... More

Took the 3 grand kids there to run off some energy after dinner. Impressed with how the park was all planted with native vegitation that was marked with identifiers. Great butterfly garden too. Free tours available. Playground for the kids.

My wife wants us to visit a new park every month so we started off the new year at this one. They have a fenced dog area, nice play ground, butterfly garden, nature trails and many many birds. The bulk of the birds that winter here have not arrived but there are a number of species that can be found... More

I stayed in Cape Coral for 2 weeks, and, on one of my daily runs I came across this park. It has a few trails, good for running! Don't forget your repelent, though! I took some nice pictures there, specially at sunset! If you have a dog, there is a big area for them!

Great place to walk the trails, workout or explore nature. Also have a great dog park. It is $15 for the year but we'll worth it.

Rotary Park is not easily found, but worth the effort to see. They have anice information center, along with exhibits and displays of fossils, critters, plants, butterfly house, and gardens. It's a nice, peaceful place to visit, and it's right next to the dog park, so you can visit after the dog gets it's exercise!
