Spent the Day here....driving thru the Camp sites for our next adventure. We are already excited about coming back here to camp. Beautiful spring, boat rentals and lots of wildlife on our drive thru the Park. We also walked down the boardwalk and saw manatee.

Nice quiet park where you can observe a lot of Manatees from the boardwalk or in the water. Great campsites. Went there for originally for a dive day in the spring, it's not big but enough for a fun hour or so. You can snorkle in that area as well. You can rent all kinds of watercraft for around $20... The first time my husband and I visited Manatee Springs State Park, we planned on swimming and having a picnic. We were happy to know that our pet was allowed to be there with us. We were delighted to find that there is a concession stand that offers smoked chicken, which they cook fresh every day. It was delicious. There... More

What a great State Park. The Suwannee river and Manatee Spring Run are beautiful for paddling. Camp in the park so you can walk out on the wooden boardwalk at night and enjoy the peace and serenity of Old Florida. What a great view of the Milky Way as well. The sky is very dark there but too many trees... More

We visited on a chilly late afternoon, and we walked the boardwalk through the cypress swamp out to the Suwannee River overlook and dock. There were people boating and fishing. We saw birds, fish, manatees (from a distance), turtles, and more. There is a vulture roost here. Lots of things to do here, including boat rentals. One price for both... More

Looking at the world under the earth's surface through crystal aquamarine water reinforced my belief that conservation and education must prevail in order to keep places like this in existence. People need to be able to visit these unique springs, to experience and enjoy and understand. And it must be done in balance with the environment. My advice to fellow... More

We spent 5 days in our RV here - great park, with friendly hosts, campsites that are well spaced (Magnolia loop 2), washrooms clean with hot water, trails for hiking. Only deterrent, have to head over to concession stand for wifi ... but, hey, we're camping!

This is one of the prettier springs I have seen so far- it's blue-green & surrounded by cypress trees. Swimming area at the springs, and one a boardwalk hike away for kids (shallower area). Another boardwalk leads through the cypress swamp and out an overlook on the Suwanee River. You can rent canoes, swim the spring, and even camp. Nice... More

6 adults spent 2 nights at Manatee Springs State Park as part of a seasonal canoe trip the last week of Dec 2016. Our initial greeting was disappointing as we had reservations yet we're told there was an issue with putting 3 2-person camp tents on the site (#61) designed for a 30 ft RV. Ultimately a ranger resolved the... More

This is an amazing place. The park itself is gorgeous - an easily accessible spring/swimming area. There is a short boardwalk that takes you to the Suwannee River. The day we were there we saw manatees, alligators and lots of birds. We ate an incredible barbecue lunch. Let's admit it, park food is usually lame - chicken tenders and second-rate... More
