We are partnered with the Big Cypress National Preserve to run a 4 hour tour into the backcountry in our comfortable 6 passenger buggy and view nature from a safe distance. The mornings are beautiful in the swamp and the sunsets are breath-taking.

This tour was so good that I want to bring my brother when he comes to Florida to visit. My family and I went on C&G's Swamp Buggy Ride and Down South Airboat Ride and I'm so glad we did both because they are so different from each other. Shannon had a great personality and was very knowledgeable about the... More

This has got to be the best way to see Big Cypress - you ride a swamp buggy (multiperson roofed ATV with the platform about 5 and a half feet off the ground) through the trails in the Preserve. Shannon was great -- he pointed out wildlife, was very family friendly, and told us about the history of the area... More

My wife and I did the tour with Capt. Shannon Brown today. This is the best way to experience the Everglades. Shannon's knowledge and experience made the 3 hour tour enjoyable and educational. I would recommend it to anyone interested in a natural wildlife experience .

My first time actually "in" the Everglades could not have been better thanks to Chris Shannon and his Big Cypress Swamp Tours! Chris' knowledge of the animal and plant life was extraordinary. When coupled with his "native" knowledge of the region and its people/personalities it makes for a great half-day or more tour. Highly recommended and my thanks to Chris.

This trip is a must if you really want to see and understand what's going on in the Everglades. Captain Shannon truly understands the Everglades and artfully brings it all to life with stories and anecdotes about life in the Glades. Ask him to tell you some stories about Loren "Totch" Brown, a legendary Everglades character, and be prepared to... More

We took this tour with Chris, who was so personable. He has so much knowledge about the area that we were asking for more! The ride itself was filled with beauty and total enjoyment. This is something I have always wanted to do if ever I found myself in FL, and was not disappointed. This far exceeded my expectations! I... More

We went on the first day of opening after the swamp had been closed for 60 days for fires. Got off to a little late start and some engine overheating, but Chris was super nice and kept his cool while getting the swamp buggy running smoothly. You could still see where the fires had burned, but most of the swamp... More

We recently spent a few days in Everglades City and wanted to take a look at Big Cypress Preserve because it is so huge and unlike anything we are used to. The swamp buggy we were taken in fitted 5 adults (including the driver) and 2 children very comfortably. We had a canopy over the four of us that were... More
