I am a bit spoiled having been to Monterrey Bay Aquarium, as well as the Georgia Aquarium. However, I am also a realist. While the staff were incredibly pleasant, this Aquarium was incredibly sad. The facility is beyond dated and run-down looking. The enclosures for the animals are very sad and small and the water for all marine life is... More

Had to stop and see Winter especially since we are big fans of the movie. Staff is wonderful and great with answering questions. We were able to see how they rescue and where they treat the animals. We saw a dolphin show with Nicholas as the star and of course we saw Rufus aka Ricky. Winter and Hope were there... More

This is mostly a marine recovery operation and they do important work. The $22 admission fee is understandable for what they do but $25 dollars for one picture or $60 for the entire package is I think too much. If you decide to visit do it because you will help them to maintain the place but don't expect much. There... More

We wanted to see it after Winter movie. I am glad it brought attention to the good work they do for rehabilitation etc. Would maybe have been more interested to see more about that. Kids were happy to see a glimpse of Winter. Not too much to see.

This is an excellent venue for ocean and sea life lovers. This isn't just a come look at the fish aquarium. This is the real deal. They practice RESCUE, REHAB, RELEASE (when at all possible). Of course, there's Winter and Hope, the stars of (2) movies featuring their rescue and the caregivers who give their all to these wonderful dolphins.... More

We took a gymnastic team here on a rainy day. We enjoyed seeing Winter and Hope. It is fairly small aquarium but it keep the kids entertained for a few hours. A little expensive but what isn't?

We adored our visit to see Winter and Hope and Nicholas (and all the others, too). CMA is best saved for a partial day trip-- it isn't huge and you can see everything (and go downtown to the movie prop museum) in a few hours' time. We did pay for the girls to feed Ricky/Rufus (the pelican from the movie)... More

We enjoyed visiting the Marina. Seeing the dolphins was so awesome. The staff was so helpful and informative! We did the safari trip it was ok. They start with a net pull then take u to a little island. The staff made the trip! You can tell how much the staff and volunteers love the animals! Thanks for a fun... More

We arrived about 1.5 hours before closing. I have been to this aquarium several times in the past and what I saw this visit was a little alarming. They have sensationalized the recent Dolphin Tale 2 movie. They should just keep it the way it was. You can do complete tour in about 2 hours. They do a great service... More

We appreciate your recent visit to Clearwater Marine Aquarium! We do have a great deal of movie memorabilia around our facility, primarily because it is so important to us that our visitors connect the work they see in the Dolphin Tale films (particularly Dolphin Tale 2) with the real-life rescue work that we do each and every day at our... My daughter wanted to see Winter the dolphin. It was really busy (End of December) and had to park on the other side of the bay. The trolley ride was efficient. Don't expect a full Aquarium like Ripleys because you will be disappointed.
