Dove with these guys on Monday, Sept 15th. We had gotten blown out by the 10k winds the first two days, but as the wind had dropped to 5k, Captain Rod was prepared to go. Met... read more

Worst idea ever don't sign up because they will cancel without notice that they have decided that they are not going out.

Do NOT sign up to dive with this outfit. Read the other reviews like I should have. It turns out all the bad reviews are accurate. I tried several other dive charters and none of them had available trips then I found Dive Clearwater. They had available trips so I signed up and gave them my credit card information and... More

Made an appointment for a dive. Rang the captain up to leave credit card details and clearly told him I would leave Orlando at 05.00 hours to get there in time. Left him with an american landline and my european cellphone. Left at 05.20 hours to make sure I didn't miss any calls. Upon arrival he just told me that... More

Went today with the crew of Dive Clearwater, and had a most excellent time on the D/V Plunger. The vessel was in immaculate shape and comfortable seating and ride out on the gulf. Even though I used my own gear, their dive equipment was immaculate and most modern. They didn't jam a bunch of people on the boat, and would... More

Dove with Dive Clearwater 5 days ago. I had booked 2 weeks prior and told Carrie that my husband and I will only be needing BC, Reg, and tanks. We carry our own wetsuits, fins, masks & snorkels. Arrived on the morning of our dive, and first thing Capt. Rod asked for was credit card, cert cards and asked to... More

Actually you were charged correctly for two trips and two equipment packages. Here is the run down: The trip fee is $99.50 + equipment package is $65 for SCUBA (regulator, BCD, 2 tanks and weights). Your total of $330 is the total for two passengers and two equipment packages. These rates have been in effect and posted on our website... More

Dive Clearwater is my local go-to dive op. Captain Rod knows I’m not a spearo; I’m a photographer so dropping us on a pile of rocks wouldn’t work for me. I’m after heavily critter-encrusted-not-one-square-inch-of-bare-rock type natural reef and established wrecks. He always comes through for me. Divemaster Carrie has a real eye for the strange and cool stuff. She finds... More

My wife and I are novice divers and made this clear upon arriving at the dock. I assembled our gear and found that the purge button on my wife's regulator didn't work. The dive master checked it, agreed that it was broken, and said that it didn't matter and rolled her eyes. Upon arrival to the divesite, the wind was... More

Dove with these guys on Monday, Sept 15th. We had gotten blown out by the 10k winds the first two days, but as the wind had dropped to 5k, Captain Rod was prepared to go. Met the boat and proceeded to do the payment and paperwork to go. I have to say that Rod's demeanour was less than friendly. All... More

What a Joke! No Common Courtesy and No Business Sense!! After reading the bad reviews for the past couple of years, I should of known better. I was trying to give them a chance. But NEVER AGAIN, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. Made a reservation for the dive a month before our vacation and made hotel reservations for 2... More

Our home was robbed two days before your son's dive trip. When my Wife and I came home to see broken glass and all our valuables gone , it shook our world . We were not thinking clearly and did not mean to ignore you. We are truly sorry for any convenience . More

We were greeted by the captain (Rod) and the divemaster (Kerry) upon arrival. Pretty much immediately, we were asked to set up our first tank. This is a typical way to assess new divers and it's not unusual. We had the usual "gear small talk" that occurs and it was friendly. Next, we signed waivers and were "charged". Unfortunately, the...
