Went here because of the reviews. Cost $5 to park the whole day. Have restroom facilities near the parking lot. Little hike to the beach but not bad. I was expecting white squishy, squeaky sand like on the panhandle of Florida. Sand was brown, hard,...More

Much less crowded than Clearwater. Small fee for parking. Chairs with umbrellas and cabanas are available for rent.

This was a beautiful park. We walked over the bridge from Clearwater Beach. I found some great shells! Would come back here.

We stopped here and ate a picnic lunch, and took our dog to the dog park. Very nice park, and dog park is spacious. Dog park is divided in two parts, one for big dogs, and one for small. They have water on site for...More

The beach itself is coarse, ground up shells, unlike the main Clearwater Beach, which has white powder sand. Just not an attractive beach for walking, though it is more deserted than Clearwater. Huge parking lot charges $5 all day. I checked it out, but would...More

Saw the sign for this park after brief stop at Clearwater beach on a frigid winter day and decided to stop since we had the time. Enjoyed the scenic drive back through the palm trees. If you have preteen or teen kids in the car,...More

Beautiful and less crowded than Clearwater Beach. I actually walked over the Sand Key bridge from Clearwater Beach. Great walk and you can spot sea turtles from the bridge. Great walk, safe area and the beach is on the other side.

Driving to Clearwater we decided to make a quick stop at this park facing the Gulf and the picturesque southern shoreline of Clearwater, across the bridge. We didn't stay long, but could appreciate quick parking next to the Gulf Blvd, and had a look at...More
