Great white sand beach with soft sand! The pier has street performers and vendors beginning 2 hours before sunset. Plenty of good restaurants nearby.

We enjoyed the shopping with the small vendors on the pier! The view was beautiful as were the birds. We saw birds we had never seen before. Local entertainers put on magic shows, another vendor sketched our charactures and others were performing various traits. We...More

High 70's and low in the 50's. I'm a local and pretty much live in shorts and t-shirts year round with the exception of some cold dips from the north. Bring a light jacket and jeans just in case.

It's been hovering around 80 and dropping to the high 60's at night. The locals are loving it. The gulf water is 75. I've been to the beach on Christmas and it is packed.
