Lift-off in a kayak, not a spaceship in Cocoa Beach! Abundant wildlife, amazing guide, peaceful paddling.

Just 15 minutes from our hotel on Cocoa Beach Oceanfront is a natural oasis! Of our party of 6 - ranging from 14 to 50 years old - only one of us had kayaked before. Buoyancy... read more

Just 15 minutes from our hotel on Cocoa Beach Oceanfront is a natural oasis! Of our party of 6 - ranging from 14 to 50 years old - only one of us had kayaked before. Buoyancy jackets and water were given to each of us. Ric was patient, informative, safety conscious and entertaining, which put us all at ease. It... More

This was such a fun activity to do. Rik is an absolute gentleman who made our day amazing. We saw some Manatee's which made my day, my husband enjoyed the day immensely. Rik made it possible for us to squeeze in trip after the hurricane before we came home, which was much appreciated. If you are looking to do this... More

This is a great inexpensive way to explore the area and learn about the wildlife. We enjoyed our experience and felt safe the whole time. Ric looks for wildlife and provides educational info on the region. Well worth the time.

What a treat!!!.... Capt. Ric mixed being entertained, informed and safe with the natural beauty and peaceful feeling being on the water gives. He knows ALL the ins and outs of the paddling process and the winding ways of the Mangroves. I'm glad to say if you go with him....you are in very good, knowledgeable hands. TIP...I was glad I... Not many activities capture the attention of my 12 & 14 year old sons as well as my wife and me, but this did. Ric does a great job of keeping everyone engaged and answering questions on everything from the plant and animal life to the history of the area. Of course the highlight of the trip for all of... We had a great day with Ric kayaking! He really keeps groups small and provides personalized service. This is something the whole family would do again with Lazy Days!

This is all based on luck if you are looking for wildlife. We saw One manatee surface. One dolphin came up to our kayaks. Lots of birds. Mr. Ric pulled a horse shoe crab out of the water and let us hold it. 2 hours of kayaking. Breezy. Sunny. Wear SUNSCREEN and Hat!!! You will sign a waiver. Bring a... More

Awesome informative adventure! My 15 year old daughter's favorite parts were seeing a baby manatee right next to our kayak and exploring in the mangrove trees. Ric's encyclopedic knowledge of the flora and fauna made the trip fun and educational. Thumbs up!

A key part of Ric's approach is keeping the tour small; there were only 6 of us on our tour which meant it had a very personal feel and (I believe) allowed us to get closer to the wildlife. We had a fabulous morning tour encountering manatees which swam around and under our kayaks, even playing with the drag handles... More

This was one of the coolest experiences ever. Great value for $$. I had never been in a kayak before but it was easy to learn and I felt comfortable in no time. We saw Manatees and other wildlife and had a really great morning. Highly recommend. P.S. sunscreen sunscreen sunscreen!
