Tradewinds park is without a doubt the most spacious park in the area. There are wide open areas of green fields, areas for sports, playgrounds, beautiful lake for boating and fishing, miles of jogging and nature trails, as well as a woodland boardwalk trail. The park is so massive it is split in 2 by Sample Road. The North side... More

If you are going to a picnic or a BBQ, then yes pay the parking and have fun and use their grounds and facilities but other then that not much to enjoy. Didn't like the butterfly world attraction with it either.

This is an excellent local park. Lots of areas to run or walk, play frisbee and just hang out. There are baseball fields, and a number of bathrooms and parking, along with picnic shelters and playgrounds. Butterfly World is located within the park, and there are also horse stables within the park area. A lot of 5k's and 10k's are... More

We took the kids there and had a blast. They have picnic tables and a lot of open areas for the kids to run. We played frisbee and then we had lunch under the canopy that wasn't rented to keep away from the sun for a bit. You can rent the pavilions and it will give you exclusive rights to... More

I actually came here just to visit Butterfly World but I was very impressed with all the facilities this park offers. They have picnic shelters, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, playgrounds, gift shop, and more, all for the admission price e$1.50 per person. Quite a good deal.

There is a great barn for trail rides. The horses are well cared for and you can take a nice ride around the park, through woods, etc.

Great for the entire family and a lot to do with kids from horseback riding to butterfly education and tons of parks. Great to organize BBQ's and meetings. Love this place, but be careful. There are a lot of car break ins here. Crooks know people leave their cars for hours unattended, so they smash and grab and have quick... More

This park has two sides to it, one for soccer fields and sports to play and picnic areas, the other has mostly picnic areas, a train ride on weekends for kids, a small zoo, and playground.
