We visited here on beautiful South Florida day, the admission to the pool was $14 per person, well worth the visit. Huge pools for both adult and children as well as a kiddie pool. We enjoy the mini waterfall and spent a good amount of...More

Cool place to take the family. Former 1920's rock quarry turned into very large pool with interesting and ornate Venetian architecture. Kids love going into caves and pools.

This place is great if you live in the area but given that there's an extra fee/ higher entrance rate for not being from the neighborhood, it may not be worth to choose it over a normal beach/ pool day somewhere else.

I came down to Coral Gables to visit my parents after my IRONMAN RACE in Haines city. Decided to relax and recover at Venetian pool. It was the perfect temperature to take a short swim to workout all my tight muscles. The water fall did...More

Got a decent peek at this. It was great to see it without people there but did not get a full sense of its wonder. So glad to see they have renovated it to keep it functional. Truly lovely!

When in Coral Gables, you must check out Venetian Pool. The pool was created in 1923 from a coral rock quarry, where much of the original coral rock was used to border and further accentuate the pool. It also features two large historic lookout towers,...More

We were in Miami/Coral Gables and killing a little time while waiting for a dinner reservation at the Biltmore. The Miracle Mile was packed so we went by the Venetian Pool. Really cool but a little expensive if you just want to walk around for...More

What would Coral Gables be without The Venitian Pool? First, when Mr. Merritt (founder and developer of Coral Gables) idealized the neighborhood in his mind, he had real Florida Coral driven in from Key West, and undoubtedly, it gives you the sensation of being on...More

They don't want you to because they sell food there but I have done it. Just take a large bag with sandwiches. I'm sure they will not ask you anything. Lol
Is this water in the pool natural spring water or is it chlorinated? I keep getting mixed answers. They have a "Chemical room" so I assume it's chlorinated but other people have said that workers there told them they put nothing in it. Which is it?

Definitely chlorinated but only very slightly. No red-eye or smell of chlorine to notice. lovely water to swim in in my opinion.
