This botanic gardens has several unusual species of plants. They have a Rare Tropical Plant House that was amazing. The grounds are nice to walk around and free tours are offered. They also have free tram rides around the gardens.

This garden provides an oasis in the midst of busy Miami. The tram tour operator was engaging and informative, without being too lengthy. Separate areas of the garden, such as the outdoor butterfly garden, and the inside butterfly enclosure, are worth visiting.

Most people think botanical gardens are boring. During the winter it is a delight on a nice day. In the summer when the ligths show is on it is a delight that everyone can love. The butterfly garen is fabulous. Don't miss it.

I love to visit the Fairchild Garden, especially during one of the great exhibits (Chihuly is my favorite) or one of their events (Orchid, Mango or Chocolate Festivals, all favorites). Don't miss the butterfly garden, you may even catch a picture with one of them on your back or your hat! Whether you enjoy walking through the tropical garden, or... More

This is a beautiful, lush , tropical garden where you can almost interact with the plants, palms, and trees; because all plants are tag or labeled. It enhances your knowledge of tropical plants by taking the inclusive tram tour.

Loved the size of this wonderful garden. Favorite spot was the orchid area. You should take a picnic and spend the day here.

Nice shuttle tour run by volunteers around the gardens, with all kind of useful botanical information for garden newbies and not so much. Great display of hundreds of butterflies at the conservatory. Beautiful display of orchids, and in general all kind of nice corners in which you will find some amazing things to watch. We had a quick lunch at... More

After driving two hours to get to the gardens it was sad and disappointing to find the that the tram tour left from a spot which was designated. I however was sent down a different garden path to a non-tour spot. The solution? Wait another hour for the next tram. Not so nice to be misdirected and then told wait--... More

Dear Arlene, Thank you so much for your review! I'm sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with our tram tour. Our tram tours usually leave on the hour at Tram Plaza and take the full hour to tour the whole 83 acres. As for the misdirection, I am sorry to hear that you did not receive the... More
