The people were friendly, the canoe had better days but floated fine and seat pads were provided. The river entrance was right there so easy in and out. Going into the side channels provided sightings of alligators. Saw 2 manatees - one that disappeared when...More

Rented two kayaks and did a 2 1/2 hour adventure up the river. The kayaks and the service were outstanding. Would do it again. Highly recommend.

We had a great time on the river. You can just rent a canoe but don't take the tour. The tour guides drives your canoe up-stream and then you can just float down river.

Both couples chose the extra cost to be dropped off, with our 2 person kayaks, at the upper part of the spring fed Wakulla River. We spent a wonderful 2 hours kayaking (but really mostly floating downstream due to the nature of the river current)...More

In the interest of full disclosure, we didn't take the tour. We rented a canoe for the afternoon. However, we found the proprietress to be helpful and friendly, the equipment good. And the rates fair. Since we hadn't seen a manatee (though we had seen...More

There is nothing like a canoe ride on the Wakulla River. It's soothing, relaxing and just lovely. I'm always surprised at how many quiet activities such as this one exist in our fair county just south of the capital of Florida, Tallahassee. On one hand...More

We visited this area in June, after a tropical storm had come in. Water was high, but safe. We took our granddaughter who was not very experienced. The young men who got our kayaks were very helpful. I have two artificial knees and have trouble...More
