Fun chasing the birds

Took our grandkids to see the water and it was pretty windy and cool but the kids had a blast chasing the birds. Will take them back out when they come back next time.

We enjoyed the sunset so much here that we visited it twice while staying in Crystal River. It was worth the short drive. Plenty of space to park. There were couples and families there flying kites, picnicking, fishing, playing with their dogs, and swimming (there is a sandy beach with a roped area to swim). It was the perfect place... More

A little off the beaten path but worth the drive. We love this wonderful beach with all it's fantastic birds. Quiet, peaceful and just a lot of fun in the sun. There are also some shelters and grills for a picnic out there, first come first serve. No dogs allowed.

This is a busy and relatively short beach with no life guard on duty. It was hit by the storm last September and the pier is still not officially accessible.

Nice little beach for swimming. A few picnic tables and a nice walk to the pier. Very relaxing and calm place. Great for families. Water was super clear but a little chilly in March. Not many people swimming but it wasn't a really hot day. We just enjoyed the beach with our feet in the water.

There in March and pleasantly surprised to see how clean the sand was. Not so many seagulls. Lots of spring breakers. part of the walk is still under repair but you can still walk out on the pier buy going down a bit further. Great at sunset!!

Good location fire sunset view. Less crowded. We enjoyed the spring break evening here. Drive is not bad. Single lane but not much traffic.
