Beach street has collected a strange concoction of shops. They had a few nice vintage/oddity stores, but not much in terms of store number. Nearly everything closes at 5:00pm, so make sure it’s an early shopping trip.

I bring my kids to Daytona three to five times a year just to experience the local beach and nothing too fancy but enough to know they aren't just home. Every summer we take a trip down Beach Street and my boys never get bored....More

Advertised in brochures as one of the shopping places. We walked the length of shops and disappointed. Majority shops out of business and those remaining not too appealing.Waste of time for tourists

Not much changes over the years, feels a little crowded building wise. Need to check out since part of history.

This old Daytona downtown is nice to walk down and see the past. Several bars/restaurants and second-hand stores. Several homeless on the street laying and sitting but didn't bother us. I heard that they periodically close the street down for events and music. I would...More

To find out the exact answer, it's best to call the Ormond Beach Municipal people who would know - or the Ormond Beach Police who normally attend and control the crowds at Bike Week.

Absolutely pet friendly. You may have to abstain from going into some shops. Street itself is very pet friendly.
