I bought a ride a long experience for my husband for his birthday. He was not a NASCAR fan but does love a good performance engine and speed. You are taken to pit row by tram, suit up in a jump suit and helmet, and...More

This was such an amazing time and unforgettable experience! A little pricey but worth it if you're into racing. Definitely make sure the weather is clear for your trip if you're planning ahead.

Gave my son a Ride Along for his 18th birthday. They were very organized and efficient. My son had a blast. His smile at the end spoke volumes.

There are two options: ride-along (driven by professional) or driving experience (you drive with the professional next to you). If you're a traveler on vacation, the ride-along is likely the wayyyy less time-intensive of the two. (If you're doing the driving experience, you will need...More

Great time of year to travel to Daytona. This is more of an adult game, don't recommend children, even if they fit the age and height

This is the most awesome thing I've done in a long time. It costs $135, Plus tax, and it's best to make a reservation, at least at race time. You are taken by tram from the tours and ticket building at the speedway, to pit...More

I signed my two boys up for the Jr Ride Along. First thing, despite it being pretty damn cool, it's also pretty damn expensive for 3 laps. Considering a lap is pretty quick, throw a few more in there! You're not provided with a lot...More

I think its about $89 - they give you a flash drive.
Have bought this "experience" for my husband. Do I get to go in and watch for free or do I have to pay admission to be able to see him and take pictures?

You should be able to go into the pits and watch for no charge.
I understand there is an option for people who do not know how to drive manual transmissions. They call it a push off start. I would love to drive, but have no knowledge of manual transmissions. Can anyone tell me about the push off starts? Thanks!

My son did the ride along but I did see a truck push off at the start as well.
