This Florida State Park has a few hidden gems. A gristmill that actually serves "cook them yourself" pancakes with all the trimmings. Tables with griddles in the middle make for a special 'attraction' to visitors. It is a lot of fun for everyone. They have a Spring that has sides on it like a pool. Many people come to relax... Gemini Springs Park is a 210 acre park area with double springs and recreational activities such as camping (limited - primitive), fishing, bird watching, canoeing/kayaking, etc. There is no admission fee to this park, and there is plenty of parking. It is a pet friendly park, and has very clean rest rooms. The views of the springs, flowers, and many... More

We love to ride from Monroe Park to Gemini Springs on the excellent bike trail. This trail is diverse, traveling through Florida forest, grass lands and along the Lake Monroe area. The park makes a great destination as it has lots to look at along the natural springs of the area. The park has nice walking paths and picnic facilities.... More

Seen lots of wildlife and enjoyed the walking trail. Bald eagle, raccoon, armadillo, just a great place to camp or explore. Highly recommend! Great place to walk dogs or ride bikes as well.

This 200 acre park is a beautiful representation of mid Florida scenery. This small park has all of what you want to see in this type of attraction. Perfect for small children and Seniors. Paved walking trails take you to two of the natural springs on the property. Informational Kiosks along the way explain the features and history of the... More

We stayed at a nearby hotel and stopped at this park in the mornings before heading to my inlaws' home (kids get up earlier than anyone else!). We got to see sunrise from the dock/lake area and it was absolutely gorgeous. Saw tons of different species of birds, several turtles, looked for alligators but didn't see any... but I'm sure... Very beautiful Spanish moss, lots of dogs, paved bike path. Lots of picnic tables and places to cookout with friends and family Had a baby shower here and rented out a venue, cabin type building, all wood and set up with tables and chairs inside.
