I cannot say enough about this place and what a wonderful facility this is. If I could give it 10 stars, I would! The snake exhibits are beautiful, clean, and informative (among other exhibits, i.e. alligator snapping turtle and tortoises). The venom extraction demonstration is...More

We live in Deland and had never even heard of this place until we came across it on TripAdvisor. The venom extraction demonstrations alone are worth the price of admission. The observation trail was neat with many different animals including a giant Burmese python and...More

This was a great little place to stop for an afternoon. It's off the beaten path but well worth the trip. There is an outside area which would be hot in summer but you can see reptiles from around the world plus a group of...More

I am not a huge fan of snakes, but I found this place to be very interesting. There is a good mix of activities. There was a group of children from a school that had a great time. It was a fun experience.

This is a great stop for kids! My boys especially loved it. Its right between Daytona and DeLand and it is something out of the ordinary if youre on vacation and looking for something to do.

I like the intimacy and dedicated staff. The educational value is better then in the large publicly funded zoos.

We had many age levels represented in our group. Everyone enjoyed and learned from the experience. I agree with the other reviewers, you must not miss the venom collection programs. Visit their website to get times and information.
