I read all the reviews on Trip and agree with everyone. What a town! Atlantic Avenue is bustling with young to old...dogs...and just some pretty happy people! The stores go from high end to your Wings tourist store. Loved that. You never feel out of place because there is something for everyone on this street. We came on a Saturday... More

Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach has to be the prettiest, most charming, and most delicious place to visit. So reminiscent of the Hamptons, it has something for everybody -- kids, adults, even your four-legged friends. The restaurants are excellent, the art galleries brim with unique, gorgeous sculpture, blown glass pieces, and stunning paintings. The antique shops, clothing stores, and ice... More

I love the variety of shops and restaurants along this strip. It is also an amazing place to do "people watching"

Atlantic Avenue seems to have all you need in a relatively small area. Plenty of dining places, lots of shops, I did see one hotel and a trolley will take you up and down. If you go far enough east, you'll see the ocean. I had chocolate on the Avenue, a yogurt, bought souvenirs and had a delightful stroll. You... More

If you are in the area you really should make the trip down the Avenue from Swinton to the Atlantic Ocean. So many places to eat - - so little time. Really. More eating spots per walking foot than you can imagine. And they are mostly all very good. Great people watching on this walk down the avenue. Start at... More

Love walking up AA especially on weekends. It is alive and jumping, restaurants and bars galore, filled with beautiful people.

Tons of stores to browse in, a couple of Starbucks on either end as well as a few other coffee places, restaurants, and around the holidays, a big (albeit fake) Christmas tree, "ice" skating rink, etc. We have a good time going there all year 'round to just walk up and down the Avenue and take in the sights, have... I think that Atlantic Ave.( downtown that is ) in Delray Beach has more charm and interesting shops then Las Olas in Ft. Lauderdale..There are MANY restaurants some you have to walk around them because their tables are all over the sidewalk. They are much more expensive then other restaurants in Delray Beach and not necessarily better. We prefer to... More
