Atlantic Avenue has it all. Great restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. From chic to cheap, you can find it. Want pub fare where Winston Churchill ate and drank? The Blue Anchor was built in Londen in the mid 1800s, later it was disassembled, shipped to Florida...More

I walked Atlantic Ave from the railroad tracks to the beach (including crossing the intracoastal draw bridge). It seemed very clean and offered a wide variety of shops and restaurants on either side of the street.

This is THE hub of Delray Beach. 7 days a week: bumper to bumper traffic, no parking, over-priced bars & restaurants, super crowded every night; packed with tourists. Several high end art shops but grossly expensive. Enjoyable only before 2:00 PM when traffic is light.

Usually no problem off season but not right on Atlantic avenue. Go down one of the side streets. You should be able to park. Also most restaurants have valet parking for a fee.
