We rented a condo at the Grand Sandestin from 8/4/17 - 8/11-17 and had about a 3 minute walk down to the Wharf. It was a great place to visit in the evenings, with multiple restaurants to choose from, and TONS of activities for the...More

Lots to do. Clean family fun. Great. And in the Wharf Amphitheater while we were there. Fireworks are always a fave. Enjoyed the ice cream, and also like the hush puppies at Acne Oyster Bar. Baytown Wharf is a great addition to a vacation for...More

This is a fun place to visit if you are in the Destin area (especially if you have kids). It is a safe and visually pleasing little area with multiple shops and restaurants. Something for everyone.

There is a lot to do here. Activities for the kids, good restaurants, pretty boats in the marina. We really have enjoyed going over a few times this vacation.

What a fun, cute little village. There are shops, restaurants, and kid activities. My daughter really enjoyed the doll shop. The older kids had fun on the ropes course and ziplining. And Hammerheads was delicious!

Maybe it was because we went on Sunday August 13 at 1 pm but the place was a ghost town with the exception of one bar playing music way too loud. In fact, we went into the pizza joint and noone came to help us...More

We rented a cottage in the Sandestin Resort Community which is essentially 2,400 acres of land with several different subdivisions. Some are townhouses, cottages on golf courses and high rises on the Gulf of Mexico. Within this gated resort community there is the Grand Sandestin...More

This is a public place. You do have to enter the gate, but just tell the guard where you are going and he will point you in the right direction.
