The water is a lovely green blue, the sand is pristine white, but alas if you are beach comber like me, there are no shells to be seen. Still a beach is a beach and I love that. The park charges $6/car or $2 for...More

We stayed in a hotel near the beach that was not oceanfront. We could've walked but didn't because we had too much "gear". The very short drive was no problem. There is plenty of parking, most unused because it was September. Henderson Beach was clean...More

A very nice beach, not too crowded. Reasonable entrance fee. Great for families. We attended a wedding there. It was a beautiful setting.

We did the nature trail and the beach looked beautiful. The dunes or the water in the background would be a great place for pictures. Not crowded so we saw a lot of people taking pictures about an hour before sun set.

If you walk in the main entrance where vehicles enter and pay, it seems possible that you may be asked to pay. If you enter elsewhere - like from the beach, no pay. It is beautiful. And no one appeared to be collecting on... More
