For over 35 years, the Dunedin Fine Art Center (DFAC) has been offering exciting art opportunities in a most welcoming kind of way. St. Petersburg Times writer Lennie Bennett says that DFAC is “the artistic equivalent of a village square,” offering quality experiences to people of all ages. DFAC offers year-round exhibitions in four galleries featuring national, regional and local artists. Classes for students 4 yrs. to 97 yrs. fill 15 studio classrooms and a changing yearly theme makes the David L. Mason Children’s Art Museum a hands-on experience not to be missed. You can take some time to enjoy a delicious lunch or gourmet coffee in the Palm Café, or search out one-of-a-kind gifts in the Gallery Gift Shop. Come out and PLAY at the Dunedin Fine Art Center and see why people say it’s where the ART is!

Any art form you can imagine is featured or taught at Dunedin Fine Art Center. Every level of artistic experience will feel completely comfortable in classes there. The Children's Exploratory Center overflows with great activities for kids to practice. Shows are filled with inspiring student and staff art. I have personally experienced Shell Art, Handbuilding with Clay and Knitting. Instructors... More

I grew up in Dunedin and always remember going here with my Mom when she would take pottery or painting classes. The exhibits always had interesting displays, a few of which I remember to this day. It has a nice free gallery with talented local artists, a must see if you are into art!

The museum has a schedule of changing exhibits, Quilt shows, Miniature Art both are outstanding. Gift shop offers unusual gifts. Food is also available, good parking and wheelchair friendly.

I was recommended to visit the DFAC by another, local, fine arts' museum. I was impressed with the facility, offerings and exhibits and plan to return soon! Go! :)!

I've been inside of this Art gallery about three times for various reasons but haven't had one great experience. It gets high marks for the number of art classes but low marks for the quality of art hanging on it's walls and friendliness of it's employees. It just isn't a place I want to go back to. There's nothing I... More

The Dunedin Fine Art Center is geared more for participation than for viewing -- think creative center not museum. The building is well laid out and attractive. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

This was one of the best things we did during our stay in Dunedin. The exhibits are fantastic. The children's area is incredibly creative. Loved the exhibit of art by local children. Gift shop is very nice, too.

Thank Patsy D
