This place is the undiscovered gem of Florida. Just take the short drive from the highway, over the bridge, and your life will be transformed.

As we stayed in Englewood near Stump Pass, we got to take advantage of this park. I ran the nature trail (1.3 miles each way) and used the beach. As a bird sanctuary, there is plenty of wildlife. The views include both the bay and...More

Can be crowded in season but there are is normally plenty of parking. This area is all natural and there is access to the beach. Bathroom facilities are available while enjoying a walk along the beach or short trails.

Great for picnics and shelling .. Good place to see turtles, snakes and seasonal birds. We take family pictures there every spring break.

We are from the east coast of Florida, so it was a treat to explore a new area by boat. This was unusual for us, the three islands, where a boat can be beached and then walk over to see the Gulf. The water all...More

I think you're talking about Blind Pass (Middle Beach) as the parking lot for Stump Pass is right next to the beach.

The park is called "Stump Pass Beach State Park". It's a long hike down to Stump Pass, shorter walk via path or beach to Middle Beach. If you don't want to hike at all, not to worry, the beach is right by the parking lot.
