Stopped at Indian Mound Park to view the ancient mounds and burial sites. Vary fascinating to walk through the shaded woods and observe and read about the original inhabitants and their cultures. There are numerous mounds to view and they are quite large with descriptive placards about the history of the mounds

Please stay away, otherwise you'll tell someone and they'll tell someone. Before you know it there won't be space for me. What a beautiful special place to spend a day. This place has it all from boat ramps to a beautiful shoreline to fish from, public restrooms, picnic tables, enjoy seeing the shorebirds too

This is a nice park for a day near the water. They have a covered picnic area. The boat ramp is awesome and it's friendly for just walking and sitting near the water.

Nice peaceful spot where you can watch the wildlife, and some people even fish here. . We were fortunate enough to see Dolphins here which was a surprise and a furst for the rest of the family in the wild.

This location has brilliant views of Lemond Bay with a quiet breeze. Covered picnic tables and well groomed grounds. Going during the middle of the week in the afternoon is very peaceful. Taking the short hike through the trail shows the aged foliage and somber remembrance of the burial site and history of the park. Plenty of parking and nice... More

After many years of visiting englewood we only found this place recently. Essentially a car park with boat ramps but great view of lemon bay. Ideal for an hour or so stop to watch the sunset or watch a storm roll along the bay. Lovely and peaceful and great place to see wildlife. Really worth a visit

Just a great place to relax, shell and creature hunt, watch the sunset, picnic. Scenic and free! Boat docks, restrooms, tables. Close to Dearborn St.

The park is heavily used by boaters so sometimes parking is a problem.Lemon Bay is shallow enough for kids to wade safely. There are rest rooms which don't always seem to be very clean. The mounds are quite small. The real treat is watching a sunset over the water of Lemon Bay. The park is free.

Love this Park. Not really beachy park, but has boat ramp, good parking and a historic shell midden and a drop in live music weekly.
