The water is crystal clear, calm and absolutely beautiful. Bring an umbrella to have some shade. Lots of sea shells if you like looking for unique things.

We spent several days here beach combing and finding hundreds of Shark Teeth. We love that if you hike away from the beach parking you can find your own little quiet spot to pitch your beach chairs and just enjoy the views! Recommend taking a picnic lunch and spend the day! Best sunsets are here too!

I love this beach! The area is tucked away and it is not touristy at all. Parking is free and the bathroom and shower facilities are clean. There is a big picnic area and an area with outside body and feet showers. Escaping winters in Chicago and walking on this beach in December is my favorite thing to do!

Englewood Beach is extremely crowded "in season" plus you need to pay for parking, which is a challenge due to the lot filling up early each day. Farther north on Manasota Key, Manasota Key Beach offers free parking, a new restroom/pavilion, life guard post and a wide area of beach. The slightly longer drive is worth the effort.

Top on our Englewood beaches. Lots of beach combing, clean restroom facilities, beautiful location. Often see dolphins and other sea life. Find handfuls of sharks teeth. Pack a lunch and make a day of it!

My teenage son and I went to this beach on the recommendations of a family member who winters here. Parking was plentiful and we saw a large building with restrooms close by. The water was beautiful and we were delighted by the sight of so many colorful beach umbrellas. (The sand is hot in the midday sun so remember your... More

Ample parking & clean restrooms available. Shade for those who need to get out of the sun for a bit. The water was an amazing shade of blue! After going once, I decided to extend my trip & went back 2 more times. Will definitely visit again!
