We made the mistake of getting a hotdog on our way to the market, though it was for a great cause (one of the shelters) . When we got into the nitty gritty of the market, we realized that we could have had BBQ or even lobster rolls! They sell out very quickly so you need to get there early!... More

Pleasantly surprised. Had great food and craft vendors. Paradise for foodies. Interesting and a great place for an afternoon of shopping & lunch.

Leisurely past time. We've been here about 3 times now. Good place to sample some different foods. Sells a lot of produce which if your from out of the area doesn't do you much good as you can't take it home.

Here we have a young couple who left the Amish with their Grand Mother receipts. Sadie & Donnie. They have a real Splash here! The are on the left side across from Englewood Glass. It's such a great Place and One not to be missed when you are their! You will want to bring them home for Friends alike. I... More

I am concerned and upset that dogs are allowed to be smelling and licking the food that is on the venders tables. Last Thursday I observe a dog licking and smelling bakery goods and today one was licking the honey bottles. I would think that dog owners would be more respectful of the venders and other customers that were shopping... More

The market operates from 9am to 1pm on both side of Dearborn. There is an excellent selection of venders, dominated by fruit and veg farmers, flowers and plants. You will, find fresh baked bread, fresh fish, BBQ meats, cheeses, fresh eggs, coffees, Crafts, much more.

I live in NYC and come to this market whenever I'm visiting my sister in Englewood. I sincerely wish we had a market this good in my neighborhood back East. Friendly merchants, great local products and a very welcoming atmosphere. I'm absolutely sure I'm coming back.

The Englewood Farmers Market - held every Thursday - is the best Farmers Market we have found in the Southwest Florida area. Lots of interesting local artists and farmers in the "official" area and more across the street. Spend the day and shop in downtown Englewood. Have lunch. The fruits and vegetables are not cheap, but are usually good quality.

It is now "season" in Florida so I recommend getting there a little earlier if possible. Heavy crowds are the norm but other than that the variety of things to see and sample are pretty good. Parking can be a bit of a challenge so be prepared.
