Nice roar!

Interesting air boat tour through the Everglades. I guess it's something you should have done once you're in the area.

I like to think of this tour as a way to help preserve our country's third largest national park. The 1 1/2 hour boat tour offers a chance to see the Everglades with a small group of others and commentary by a knowledgeable captain and first mate. There are fewer mosquitoes to bother you when you are on the water... More

Had a great time on the mangrove tour with two young kids 2, 7. Our guide was very patient and informative. Had always wanted to go through mangrove tunnels and this was an experience! Lots of mosquitoes but as a native Florida we knew what we were getting into even with lots of deet! Would do again for sure!

The Everglades National Park boat tours are brilliant. Their boats cause less disturbance and disruption to the wildlife than the big noisy airboats. We did the mangrove wilderness tour. It was a quiet day so it was only the 2 of us on the boat. We were driven by Captain DeWayne. He was lovely. Such a friendly and informative person.... More

To experience the Everglades, a mangrove tour is essential. We had an excellent guide who taught us about the water, animals and crabs as well as the trees and the tides. The Native American history of building up of some of the areas is very interesting, too. The shop clerk recommended the 100% Deet and we were glad we did... More

The tour was just not worth the money. As a family of 4 we spend around $140 for a 90 minute boat tour. That was a clean $ 1,000 for the captain (per tour of 90 minutes). An attraction completely in line with the rest of the overpricing policy that Florida attractions seem to handle. The tour takes you through... More

We chose this over an airboat tour as preferred more in-depth, longer and quieter tour of the mangroves than just gator-gawping. We weren't disappointed. Captain Joyce took us out at 9am. We saw Dolphins right alongside the boat. We saw turtles, got to handle the little crabs and loads of birds. Captain was very knowledgeable and we felt very safe... More

This was a very enjoyable boat ride around the outer mangrove islands, very informative narration. The boat was large, clean, and a great viewing surface for the islands and wildlife. We saw nesting ospreys, including chicks, very close. We also saw cormorants and other birds and bottle nose dolphins playing up close and jumping in the boat's wake. They pushed... More

There are two boat rides here. One is the island tour the other is the Mangrove tour. The island tour hold probably 50 people the Mangrove tour holds 6. We enjoyed the mangroves and he 90 minute tour. Very good tour guide and interesting. We did see a couple of alligators, but this isn't the place to see many of... More

Went on the mangrove tour. There just wasn't a lot to see. Information provided was interesting but there just didn't seem to be any richness in the experience. Mostly just a boat ride but for the price there was little value. Upon further exploring the park in other places, much of the same type of mangrove was available by hiking... More
