Stopped in the afternoon after arriving on Amelia Island and had a beer and loved the feeling of being in the oldest saloon in USA. Stopped again the next night later around 10 and enjoyed one man band. However, as the night got later, around...More

Historic bar right in downtown Fernandina that serves cold beer and bloody marys with just the right amount of spice. This is a true bar atmosphere with talking, laughter, and music. If you prefer bars that are clean, smoke free, and serve drinks prepared by...More

We stopped in at the Palace Saloon for a drink after dinner on Friday night. This is the oldest continuously open bar in Florida. It looks it. Had we come in during daylight, we might have had a chance to see some of the architecture...More

Good place to stop in and have a drink. The old bar and saloon doors are authentic. Live music was good and not overcrowded during the day. Locals were there and the people watching was interesting

Visited in the middle of the day on a Monday. Cool atmosphere. Cold beer, lively bartender, and they have Jager! Can't go wrong. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

What a historic bar and Im told its Florida's oldest bar . Love the bar back, porcelain title floors, tin ceiling and handmade one inch thick windows. Best of all they have Bells Two Hearted Ale on tap!

Sure they can enter but if I'm not mistaken they cannot sit at the bar until legal drinking age.
