Drink like a fish because the bar is underwater! (Get it?)

We got there at 5:30 and there were others waiting already to get it when they open the doors at 6. The show starts at 6:30 and we got great seats. The entire deal was family friendly and definitely a highlight of our trip! Oh, and the lobster and crab cakes are delicious 😉

Relive the days of kitschy South Florida - imagine a cocktail lounge with a nautical theme with portals that face INTO a hotel swimming pool, then imagine girls dressed in mermaid costumes swimming and doing water aerobatics before your eyes. Stop imagining - it all exists at the Wreck Bar inside the Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel. If it looks... More

Whether you're a tourist or full-time Florida resident, you should add seeing the Wreck Bar's MeduSirena Retro Mermaid Swim Show to your fun list. If only I could go back in time and tell little 10-year-old Miranda "Yes! You CAN be a mermaid when you grow up!" Although with only two shows a week (Fri/Sat 6:30) I'm sure these mer-performers... We had such an amazing time at the wreck, our bartender was attentive and informative as well. The food was good and the Mwrmaid show was fun and entertaining as well.

I have been going to this cute bar for years, even loved taking my daughter to see the Mermaid show which used to be great! This place used to feel like you were in an old ship, it was dark and dingy like an old ship, and it was cool. Now while it still resembles a ship there is a... More

This is a nice evening for tourists as well as locals. We arrived just before 6 and there were no seats available at the bar or at any of the tables. The area is very small and got crowded for the show. They don't take reservations so I would suggest getting there by 5:30. There is major construction going on... More

This is one of the best places to bring guests especially if they are from out of town. Sit at the bar for the best view. Come for drinks and the show. We like to get there early at 6 pm and have dinner before the show. You will get great photos, have a great time and you will never... More

The Wreck Bar is one of 2 of the only Port Hole Bars left in the USA that has a live pool show. The show is available on Fridays and Saturdays with gorgeous mermaids swimming underwater while you are in the bar. The show starts at 6:30 but get there by 5:30 to get a great seat at the bar,... More

Lovely little bar in B Ocean Hotel. Excellent service and great selection of drinks. We didn't eat there but those who did obviously enjoyed their food. Will definitely go back and visit again
