For the manatee tours (best observations between December and March each year)you will ride on a 40 foot covered vessel which travels the Caloosahatchee River from Sweetwater Landing Marina to the Orange River and back. Very friendly crew and informative. They even served shrimp and cheese. We had taken his day cruise last year. We would do both again. Great value for the money. You won't be disappointed!

We went out on a boat tour with the very friendly and informative Captain John and First Mate Robert in April this year. As visitors from the UK and keen naturalists/zoologists we were keen to catch sight of some Florida-specialist species and were not disappointed....More

It was a beautiful day. The Captain was very informative. We didn't see any manatee because it was too warm for them to be there. I liked going through the lock. This is a fun thing to do and not expensive.

So glad you joined us! This time of the year the manatee move out of our area searching for food sources. If you're here in January or February, come back out and see manatee!
