Everyone should see manatees at least once if you are in this area. They are slow moving and living in groups it seems.

This is a marvelous experience, taking time to relax and enjy the sight of the manatees bouncing up and down in the ponds. The setting is informative and very worthwhile for learning about these curioius creatures and seeing them perform.

Not much to say. You get what you pay for in this area. Cute but not real exciting. Just move slow and then you might have some fun.

Using the address in tripadvisor we went around and around using the GPS. Ended up going up the street to Manatee Park, which is a nice park, however the weather was unseasonably warm so no Manatees for us.

Even if you never saw a sea cow, the park is a very pleasant place, but I can guarantee you will see Manatee, as they gather in the safe warm waters created by the cooling system of the nearby power plant. In addition there are kyaks to rent for an up close look. This is a highly recommended Ft Myers... More

Easy to see manatee from the park or via kayaking. Very short kayak trip from ramp to where the kayak come close to the boat.

IN SEASON, you can see the gentle giants up close. I saw a baby try & save its' Mom. The volunteer can give you a fee tour. Even without a tour watching them is unbelievable. There is also a butterfly garden & a kayak rental. A Cracker Barrel restaurant is nearby. Only cost is minimal parking in the lot. No... More

This is a fun activity when the manatees are at the park, which is only during the colder months in Florida. Good for adults and kids alike. There is an opportunity to kayak with the manatees.
