I think ones time would be better spent just going to the air boat ride and the park on your own. Way to much time spent in a hot cramped van that you couldn't see out of. The wild Manatee Park in Fort Myers is the place to see Manatees, I counted at least 25 and you were really close... More

Summary: Beautiful eco tour with so many alligators, bird, and wildlife sightings. Planned the trip for myself, my boyfriend, and his parents who are avid bird watchers and who enjoyed this tour more than one they had previously done in Everglade City because it "felt like you were a guest in their [the wildlife's] habit vs a speeding joyride". We did the captain bob tour adventure. We got picked up at a motel and then had 2 other stops on the way there. On the bus for 1 1/2 hours. The airboat ride was an hour. I was hoping to see a lot of alligators all clumped together but we seen one here, one there. I was ready to... More

Our tour guide "Randy" showed up exactly on time to pick us up. We were staying on Sanibel and had to drive over to fort myers for the pick up point. Only about 15 minutes. We were the fist group picked up and it took about 40min to get everyone else. The drive to the safari wasn't that long and... More

We have joined this tour with our family of five. Pete was our tour guide. He shared many interesting facts about the wildlife and history of South Florida on the way to Lake Trafford. Once at Lake Trafford we got on an airboat with captain Fred who pointed out various species of birds around the lakes. There was no shortage... More

We took this half day trip with two young children. We met a shuttle bus in a shopping parking lot. Upon boarding the bus we made a few more stops to pick up others and we were off. It was about an hour bus ride and Captain Bob our driver was on a microphone and mixed historical facts with humor.... More

I've taken wildlife tours all over the world and this tour was the worst one I've ever taken. The tour was supposed to begin in am but one couple didn't show so we all had to wait 20 min. for a no-show. The itinerary as it was tried to cover way too much distance and a late start just made... Pete, our guide, was amazing! He was friendly and knowledgeable from the minute he picked us up in Fort Meyers. We saw and learned a lot about birds, crocodiles/alligators and reptiles. The reptile show at the end was hands-on and awesome! All adults and kids learned a great deal within a fun experience.

Thought of going to Everglades on a 90 degree day was a bad idea, but I was wrong! Lake Trafford was beautiful and Captain JD kept us entertained. Pete was great and so patient with the kids and holding the 3 year old alligator Dave and the Python George made my kids day. So glad we went.

Thanks for the nice review. 90 degrees in July sounds like a beautiful day! It's really not bad when you're out on the water. Glad we made everyone happy. More

We did a full day safari with Randi as our guide. To be honest Randi made the trip worth while as she was really enthusiastic with extensive knowledge not only about the wildlife and habitat but also the history and culture of the Everglades. We saw lots of alligators and a huge variety of birds. The air boat ride was... More

If only we could bring the Everglades closer to us. Alas we must drive to the last subtropical wilderness in the United States. It takes about 75-80 minutes to get there but our guides do a great job narrating throughout the day, making it fun and educational. Thanks for the nice review. More
