Canoe trip to see manatees

We had a great time on the water seeing the manatees. A definite must do if the manatees are around.

This is a wonderful state park with everything you need if you are traveling but without a vehicle. We took the tram from the very north end of FMB and then a short walk to the concession area where they will rent you bikes, kayaks, paddle boards and more. Once you pay the park fee there's also a free tram... More

We stopped here for a good part of the day on our way to Naples to check out the whole southern gulf coast. The park offers a lot of different things including hiking, kayaking and of course a very beautiful beach. We ate lunch at their little grill. There's not a lot of selection there so I'd advise you to... More

This is a lovely place to visit if you come to Fort Myers Beach. We rented a pontoon and with several other families boated around Lovers Key and beached on a beautiful sandy white untouched beach.

We rented kayaks on a beautiful day. It was too windy to go out on the bay, so we stayed in the park. The canals wound around and the bird watching was very entertaining. We also saw 2 manatee. It was a perfect way to spend 1/2 a day.

Great place to go with kids of all ages. $10 park fee plus lots of parking. There is a tram to take you down to the beach. Lots of beach area to set up on. Snack bar on site as well as bathrooms. Clear water was good for shell collecting. Kayaks and paddle boards for rent to go thru mangroves.... More

Everything a great state park should have and more! The beach here is fantastic with powdery sand and so many shells. I love the tram ride to see the mangrove trees and different types of natural birds.
