Well maintained nature trails.

Enjoyed the paths, camped nearby, the springs are beautiful. If you want to avoid the families definitely best to show up early.

This was our first Floridan Spring and absolutely beautiful. The water was unbelievably clear and we had the spring all the ourselves. We then took our tubes down the river passing lots of turtles chilling on logs. It was a perfect day. Highly recommended snorkels to appreciate the springs!

Great place to spend time with the kids - they had a blast. We only went to the main spring pool and the blue hole, we opted to not take the float down the river due to time.

We were the first ones on the river in the morning and for the next three hours we only saw one other Kayaker. The spring is clear cold and full of life, it was an amazing paddle. Be sure to snorkel the blue hole it is truly spectacular (but cold)

We spent the day kayaking at Ichetucknee Springs. It took about two hours to go from the North entrance to the South entrance. We were the only ones on the river. It was beautiful and we saw many turtles, fish and birds. It is definitely Old Florida. We recommend the Ichetucknee Tube Center for rentals of kayaks and tubes, etc.... More

Grab a raft or tube set you a self inside and prepare to flow down a pristine spring. Along the way you will see nature and all of its glory you will see turtles, birds, you will see fish absolutely awesome Disney would fall short to try to duplicated this amazing place. Get unplugged and prepare for total relaxation.

We brought the kids here years ago and took the 4 hour trip, tubing the Itchnetucknee! Loved it then. We were in the area again this weekend and my husband and I decided to do the 2 hour float. We stopped at Lowe's and purchased our tube station for $7 each and then drove to the South Entrance of the... More

This is one of Floridas most pristine rivers. Beautiful crystal clear. Turtles line the river bed. Refreshing water on a hot summer day. Tubing or kayak with several options for different entry points.

We went in the summer and although it was busy it was till peaceful. Kids were playing but everyone was generally nice, relaxed and didn't bother you. We rented a large raft and both my husband and I fit very comfortably. We took along a small tote bag with some sandwiches, water, sun screen etc... The water is very cool... More
