I just stood in awe...it felt as though I were in a tropical rainforest and I was surrounded by butterflies of all shapes, sizes and colors. Extra special was that I got to see butterflies being released for the first time. Awesome experience!

As others have said, no, the exhibit is not protected from the rain. We also are required to close during lightning or heavy storms.

Yes, all Florida Museum exhibits are wheelchair accessible. The Butterfly Rainforest path was recently widened in some areas to improve access.
