Top-notch university with high standards! Not easy to get accepted, but well worth the hard work to get in! (*Parking on campus, however, can be a nightmare! And the parking attendants love writing tickets here!)

The Bat Houses is a must see. It was awsome to see all those Bats at once. The kids loved it. So if your in Gainesville go see it you wouldn't regret it.

Very lovely campus with some interesting buildings. Parking is next to impossible and driving is very difficult because students walk across roads haphazardly. It would be nice if there were conveniently located visitor parking on the perimeter so visitors could explore.

The campus buildings are just great, the azaleas were in bloom, so the campus was extra pretty. Could not believe how large it was. Very clean and neat!

Very large, popular state university. Home of Florida Gators. Many aged buildings and halls on campus with interesting architectural styles. The campus has grown over the years & has spread out throughout the town. Very busy & active place - thousands of students walking about...More

Awful campus. Ugly. Spread out. Terrible layout. Unwelcoming. Every thing is so far away. Nothing is within walking distance. I could never go to school here...and I got in with scholarship. Go to Florida State instead (most beautiful campus in the country). Don’t waste your...More

Lol. I suspect this bad/False review was written by an overly zealous semi-mole seeking to promote FSU by figuratively stepping on we of the Gator Nation who recognize a Hit-Job when we see it.

The University of Florida is very large southern research University. I attended the college of engineering 40 years ago. The campus has changed significantly! The feel of the campus is the same. Large brick edifices, ivy covered, and large windows. Lake Alice still has gators....More
