When we moved to Gainesville we heard many good things about Dogwood Park. Our first visit impressed us so much that we signed up for membership within 20 minutes after viewing the well kept 15 acre park, and watched our dog go in one of the two beautiful lakes. Before that day we did not even know if our girl... More

We took Cody our boxador there for an easter egg hunt. He was very happy. A little skittish about the water, but got used to it. Large area which is great for dogs of any size, but especially larger dogs. The inside office area could be kept a little cleaner and maybe smell better, but understandable considering. Lots of seating... More

Love this place. We board our dog here when we go out of town, and take him for daycare about once a month so he can play with other dogs. He loves going and never even looks back when we drop him off which makes us a little sad.

Such a beautiful sight! Can't wait to see it again! We took a long walk around the entire park! We enjoyed ourselves so much.

We were in town for an extended stay, and took our Buddy to Dogwood Park regularly. There's shade or sun. Ponds or dry areas. Separate area for small dogs.Everyone that we met was friendly. The staff was great! Make sure you take written proof of your dog's immunizations, rabies, etc.

The park itself is absolutely beautiful and the dogs and owners there are mostly friendly and peaceful. The only issue I had here was with the "attendants". They were quite aloof most of the time. My husband and I went to wash our dog and they never answered our questions when we asked politely if they had a certain shampoo... More

If you like to have your dogs run free and able to swim in the lake then dog wood park is good place to go. They have run coupons monthly in penny magazine to take your dog for free or 5 bucks with a bath. My two labs have great fun there. It is very relaxed and open.

I would be a member here - my dog's LOVE this place beyond belief and its been great therapy for our adopted/abused female who sees that life is good here - but the best part of the park for my dogs is the ponds. Unfortunately they get sick (diarrhea, vomiting, ear infections, etc) everytime they swim in it because it... More

Cody and I went to Dogwood Park for the first time yesterday and were very pleased with the spacious, shady acres, the staff and the clientele. Everyone was very pleasant and it was kind of neat the way Cody got into being "a dog" right away. I had plenty of new friends to chat with and he was simply thrilled... More
