Went with friends on a weekend for scuba diving and tubing. Phone network was the problem. There were 7 springs connected to a river. We rented tubes as well but due to the air it was going in opposite direction.

So much drinking and not the crowd we want to hang out with... but if you are looking for a party type place, you will love it. It's sad because the springs here are so beautiful but I don't want to deal with the drunk and rowdy crowds.

One of North Florida's hidden secrets. A must visit for anyone that hasn't been. A day trip or camping is a great way to start!!

We checked in for 2 nights, 2 Adults, 2 kids (16yo). The cost was almost $200 to sleep in a tent, with no electricity, water only. Was pretty disappointed when we found out the cost, but were stuck since we'd driven 3 hours to get there. Had I realized about Blue Springs, may have checked them out. The view is... More

My wife and I head to Ginnie almost every year. She gets to relax and float while I get to snorkel and explore. 2017 will be the first year we bring our kids to the park and we can't wait. If there is a down side to the park it's that people get a little to rowdy some times. Because... More

Ginnie Springs is a privately owned campground outside Gainesville. The company that owns it charges $15 per person instead of per site. Plus an extra $10 per person for electricity on the electric sites. My family of 4 paid over $200 for 4 nights and my 2 children were free(under 6 y/o). We went there for 4 nights over New... More

Went there with friends for a fun day to get he hang of Florida. Definitely the best part of my trip. Went for five hours but it was definitely enough although it would be fun to go camping like I saw allot of people doing too. Was one of the most unique trips I had done . Also it wasn't... More

Traveling from Orlando it's about 2.5 hours to get there but SO worth it. Arrive early to ensure you get a good spot to enter the river. We rented inner tubes and after finding a great parking spot in the shade, we walked up for 15 minutes, and splashed into the river. We floated lazily down stream for almost 2... More

The area is beautiful. But Blue Springs is just as nice or nicer. The billing staff and owner have no integrity and are very unprofessional. I paid the deposit for 7 electric sites. When I checked in, I asked the front desk if each family would be billed for electric so I could get my deposit refunded...they said "no problem".... More
