A family-run, 4.5 acre garden with year-round interest in colour and texture. Goltho Gardens has been dubbed “one of the great gardens of the future”. (Sue Hoy, Lincolnshire Life.)The garden boasts a long grass walk flanked by abundantly-planted borders, from which a network of paths meander. The nut walk, delightful pæony and rose gardens and stunning wildflower meadow are at their best in spring and early summer. A prairie border and gravel garden provide late summer and autumnal interest. The potager’s geometric planting provides the teashop with delicious herbs and vegetables. Many of the plants are propagated on site and can be purchased in the nursery. The teashop serves local food, home-cooked.

Wonderful gardens to wander around with a wide variety of plants. Good selection of plants for sale and an excellent tearoom with a lovely choice of food. I recommend the Meat Platter.

We went on a Sunday afternoon under a brilliant blue sky but with a biting cold wind. The gardens have a decent hedge all round which gives shelter so it was rather warm walking round. There is a formal long avenue with shrubs and perennials either side. further over is a wild flower meadow; on the other side a 'winter'... More

Five of us went on a sunny day and thought it a very relaxing experience. We had coffee and delicious cake first then walked around the gardens - very impressed. There are trees, shrubs, lawns, ponds and flowering bulbs and perennials. We then returned to the cafe and had a meal - very good quality - great service. Plants for... More

We visited this garden in early spring and it is beautiful. It is not a huge garden about 4 acres but it is lovingly tended by the owner Debbie Hollingworth and her team and has been for over 20 years. Even on a late April morning in the sunshine Peacock Butterflies were fluttering through the beautiful blooms and trees. The... More

Visited for lunch in the cafe on our way into Lincoln. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Lots of choice on the menu as well as a varied specials board. Food was served quickly and was fresh and delicious. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and definitely recommended as a lovely place to stop for lunch.

We had a lovely time exploring the exquisite gardens with my mother and 9-year-old son. There was so much to see and we all enjoyed it. We treated ourselves to lunch there and had a beautiful, freshly prepared meal in a friendly surrounding. My son also liked the fact that the owner's dog came to play with him in the... More

Our small gardeners group chose Goltho Gardens for our monthly meeting. It was the first visit for all of us. The gardens were varied and well planted with interesting plants, there is a variety of walks to satisfy all gardening interests. We made two visits to the tearooms where the food was delicious. I would highly recommend a visit. Get... More
