We were in the area with our Basenji Hounds and looking for a place that was safe for our dogs to be off leash. We found this Bark Central Dog Park on google and decided to give it a try. We arrived and were told this was a members only dog park, but not to worry, we could join for... More

Ted's favorite place with the exception of bath tubs which he only tolerates. The nail trimming is really challenging his patience tho. But the field is WOW! The pond is great for water dogs but that too is merely tolerated by Ted. His favorite thing to do is explore the vast expanse or play tag with some buddies. Either way... More

Great day at the park for your best friends! The dogs enjoy paying together and running around in the ponds! I couldn't believe there was a big dog side and a little dog side. Really fun to watch the dogs interact. There have not been any problems with other dogs while I've been there. I mean, you do have to... More

Great place to bring the pups and hang out. There is a separate small dog are. Hate to have to pay, but no choices in inverness. There is a nice shaded train for owners to walk as well.

I opened the door to the office to be greeted by an aggressive, off-leash dog. My dog has been attacked by other dogs and is shy, so I shut the door immediately. The Manager came out and talked to me about the cost ($10/day) which I was stunned about (I'm used to municipal dog parks and beaches), but I was... More

The website clearly states it was open till 7:30pm. We arrived about 5:30pm and after getting half of the application filled out the woman behind the desk says they lock the gates in 30mins. I'm sorry but I'm not going to pay $10 for 30mins! We drove an hour from Ocala to check out this park. Never again. The woman... More

Being new to Florida I was not used to public parks and beaches not allowing pets. Bark Central gave me a place to take my dog where she could swim in the pond on hot days and chase tennis balls with other dogs.

I took my dog here to just to exercise, but found so much more. The people are so nice and welcoming and the off leash area is huge! I've made friends and so has my dog. It's well worth the drive and the money. My dog has a great time, gets nice and worn out and then I don't have... More

Wonderful place to let the dog off lead to either play with other dogs or have a swim in the pond. Plenty of shade and room to run.

Trip advisor does not allow recounts of even reliable sources. However, my experience was to be warned by management that there were two known aggressive dogs that are permitted to frequent the park, one required to be kept in a central unfenced area "away from" the other dogs ( that means about 100 feet/no barrier for this German Shepherd) and...
