Rented Kayaks. First of all, this is a fun trip. Getting the Kayak from the old guy in the trailer took some time. In addition, for $30.00, the kayak and paddle were old. Lastly, the map which Canoe Outfitters provides is absolutely useless.

Well organised, reliable bikes (with optional basket on handlebars). Mono paper map a bit cryptic but large colour maps and signs all over the park so don't worry about a route...just cycle around and you won't get list. It's not that big.

I had wanted to do this for a long time but couldn't get anyone familiar with canoes to go with me. Then my younger brother (64) came to visit and said he's experienced and would like to do it too. So we rented the canoe from the nice staff and went on our way. In circles!!! Apparently my brother misjudged... More

Rented 2 kayaks for my 12-year-old grandson and me. Very good service, well-kept kayaks, nice trip up the river. My only quibble: the paper map they give you gets wet and disintegrates after the first 10 minutes of the trip. Sure would be nice to have it laminated; I'd pay a buck extra to have a map I could read!

Not sure what canoeing down the Amazon feels like, but going north on the Loxahatchee River might be the next best thing. Lots of shade. When the water is high, going north, is a beautiful experience. However, it is a technical river. There are hairpin turns (some technique is involved). Experience some adventure when seeing a gator or if luck... More

We have been rented from Canoe Outfitters on many occasions, great people and a fun day on the water! This is a family friendly event.

The Cypress Canopy run on the Loxahatchee River was exquisite. It feels like one is paddling through time to the Jurassic. It's shady and covered, so this paddle can be done even on hot days. There is one portage over a small dam, but it can be done in boat going N and carrying the boat going S. USE INSECT... More

Had a great time, just another wonder place to enjoy our beautiful Jupiter. The staff is wonderful, they help you, even with small children (the grandkids). Beautiful scenery and very calm waters.

We visited today for the first time and although the water level was a bit low it was still a great outing. You forget you are in busy Florida as it is a wild canopied river. We drove an hour there from ft Lauderdale and it was worth it. Very peaceful. We saw a lot of turtles, fish and birds.... More

Good location, pretty views, ignorant people. MOST OF THE STAFF IS A JOKE, make up there own rules about what is and isn't permitted on the river that is all interconnected . They try to tell people that dogs are not permitted anywhere on the river which they are ,just not in riverbed. JONATHAN DICKINSON IS A MUCH MORE ACCOMMODATING AND... More
