Been here once and it was a lovely experience. There is a lot of shade so you don't feel like the sun is beating down on you even when it's hot out. We really enjoyed the barn where you learn about different animals and they let you pet them. They accept donations and at the end of your journey your... More

What a lovely zoo & a great place to bring small children. It has a lot of Florida native wildlife including the Florida panther.

Someone recommended that we visit the sanctuary during our trip. There isn't an admittance fee, just donations. We really enjoyed ourselves. It's great that there is a place that will take in rescued or injured animals.

We arrived soon after they opened. We started at the gift shop to get information. The service representative there gave us a very passionate explanation of what they do there and why the animals and birds call this home. She was extremely knowledgeable. There was a large group of 2nd grade students assembling for a guided tour. We followed one... More

Its nonprofit so needs your donations. Animals that you could see: Florida panther (or cougar), black bear, fox, otter, skunk, deer, eagles, wild turkey, alligators,... More
