The kitesurf school instructors are incredibly rude and they make it impossible for advance riders to get in the water without paying enormous fees.

Mixed impressions. The staff are smily but the service attitude is definitely French - not American. I am a novice kiter, so can't comment on whether it was me, bad luck, or bad equipment, but on my first day the kite tore after about 2 hours. i was given a replacement kite which deflated some minutes after we launched it.... My husband, an advanced kiter, and I are visiting Miami this week with family. Altho we knew Miami isn't a mecca for kiting, we had one day of wind this holiday and he was anxious to get out. We were told this was a great spot- some restrictions on launch site and you have to follow buoys out to keep... More

Kiteboarding is so much fun. I have just taken my second lesson at Miami Kiteboarding. The experience has been awesome. The staff is incredibly patient and top professionals. The detail to safety allowed to move confidently through the various stages. The Key Biscayne, North Beach location is like none other. It is perfectly suited for learning, and beautiful to see... Drove down and rented paddleboards for the day with my husband. The service was sub par and the equipment was the worst I have ever seen. My paddleboard was cracked and could have easily cut my foot. My husband's had no foot grip at all. The equipment was beat up and not taken care of. Absolutely no amenities and dirty.... More

I took a special trip to find the "wind" in Miami and get my self comfortable with kite boarding. I gave them $300 for lessons and I made a reservation at a local hotel just to be ready for the next day because the weather was supposed be good. Myself and three other people were taken out on a rickety... More

Booked 3 days 9 hours of private instruction over the phone. First day they emailed 2 hrs before my lesson was to begin saying their instructor couldn't make it. Second day they emailed to cancel again an hour before my lesson saying there was no wind. They never called. By this point I wanted a full refund so called them... More

Thanks to Miami Kiteboarding's methods I could stand-up on the board and navigate both sides in less than 6 hrs! Their instructors Franco, Raul and Kevin are THE BEST!!!

I have have been learning with them for a few weeks now. Their equipment that was supplied was top notch and scheduling/billing was reasonable. There are a bunch of rules associated with the park and Miami Kiteboarding does their best to work within those rules but still create a fun experience.

My wife and I are 51. My daughters 16 and 11. Miami Kiteboarding was able to handle our varied ability levels. We have taken kiteboarding lessons from 7 different vendors. For rank beginners they are pretty similar, you learn to fly a small two line kite on land, then downwind body drag with a four line kite, upwind body drag,... More
