We went to the statue, even though we were told to expect bad visibility after the hurricane Irma, And there was a lot of silt in the water, - but it was great fun just the same. The statue is a special experience. We were...More

I've done Christ in the Smokies ansd now Christ in the Deep. not great for snorkelers unless you're a strong swimmer who can hold your air but for Scuba divers WOW!

We enjoyed seeing the statue and it sure was a sight to behold. We do a lot of snorkeling so we started poking around to see what else this area had to offer and we sure did see a lot. If you are positioned looking...More

This site is iconic and very busy. It’s an easy dive in 30-40 feet of water and many instructors use this site to count as an ocean dive for SCUBA certification classes. If you are going to do it, get there early before it gets...More

They say you can touch his hands but don't touch anything else. The rest is covered in fire coral. Try to be here early as it get crowded.

We went a snorkel trip to Christ of the Deep and Grecian Rocks. Christ of the Deep is in deeper water and Grecian Rocks is a shallow location. Both sites have plenty of fish and beautiful Coral Reefs.

Our girls snorkeled the Christ of the Deep Statue this past summer. They really enjoyed it as first time snorkelers. Would definitely do this again

This was a snorkeling stop and there were lots of other snorkelers around. A little too busy for my taste but, it is an easy swim even though there are lots of boats sharing the experience. I think it is a traditional stop if you're...More

No, the statue is about a 30 minute boat ride out. There are cannons just off the beach at John Pennekamp State Park. The boat trip only cost about $30.00 per person from the park. They limit their numbers so it is not over... More
