We spent the day snorkeling and our second stop was Christ of the Abyss. Absolutely breathtaking. We have been snorkeling to some of the best parts of the world and the Keys were great. It was a cool experience floating above the statue. We felt...More

We took the 4.5 hour snorkeling trip out of John Pennekamp State Park, and Christ of the Deep was our second destination on our tour. We were able to snorkel down and touch the hands of Jesus and got great photography at this site. It...More

This was a great experience to dive this site. LOTS of schools of fish and only about 30 feet at the most so snorklers can enjoy the statues too whch sits in shallower water. Fun to take you pic with Jesus of the deep

it is truly a wonder will definitely go again. the water is so clear and the corals make it, even more, appealing it's a whole new world.

It's about an hour from shore. The statue was fine. I guess I was a little underwhelmed. I mean, it was a nice thing to see underwater, but you can only look at it for so long. The surrounding reef is worth a visit. There's...More

If you are a snorkler or diver this statue is a fun trip for the whole family. Also very cool fish and worth going to even if there are alot of boats with snorklers.

We went to the statue, even though we were told to expect bad visibility after the hurricane Irma, And there was a lot of silt in the water, - but it was great fun just the same. The statue is a special experience. We were...More

We scubaed with Amoray. There were snorkelers onboard sometimes, but my impression is that the boat was dedicated more to scuba in terms of the depths and sites we visited. If you just want to visit the Christ of the Deep... More

No, the statue is about a 30 minute boat ride out. There are cannons just off the beach at John Pennekamp State Park. The boat trip only cost about $30.00 per person from the park. They limit their numbers so it is not over... More
