First wreck dive

We went with Quiescence diving. Great company. Shallow dive as wrecks go, 25-30 ft. Tons of fish, eels, etc.

This wreck is not intact but has a good amount of wildlife inhabiting it. Also a good area for a night dive.

We had a rough day at sea. It was the second dive after the Spiegel Grove. About four of the 17 divers didn't go due to seasickness. I sucked it up and puked underwater. Maybe 4' of visibility on a clear blue day.

Dove the Benwood last weekend. First time on the wreck, was very interesting and saw a sea turtle as well. Watch out for the fire coral.

We had nice visibility and lots of life on the wreck, including a huge scorpion fish which was a treat. This is a destroyed wreck with not a lot of structure left, but lots of fish!

This was my first wreck dive and loved it. Got to see lots of fish, including sharks, eel, barracudas, parrot fish, sand diggers, turtles, etc.

The Benwood is an easy wreck to dive and navigate. Plenty of marine life to see hiding out in the various crevices and hidey holes of the wreckage. No matter what, its a cool piece of history to see, coupled with the fact that diving is ALWAYS fun. Go see it, if you don't enjoy it, see it again and... More

After doing the Spiegel Grove a bit of a let down, but still a nice dive. Use Rainbow Reef dive shop if you go. Ask for Pete (private guide).

The Benwood wreck was not "intact" like the Spiegel Grove, but has been there long enough to have some very significant marine growth on it. The marine life was abundant and the Vis was great. Rainbow Reef Dive Center comes through, again.
